David Soard believes that this upcoming 2011 Tour would be the most exciting and comprehensive, for all the Denver Kung Fu and Boulder Kung Fu students, as well as, for those from all the Chinese Shao-Lin Center locations.

David and Sharon Soard’s first Trip to China in the fall of 1987, followed a joint demonstration in Denver Colorado that summer, known as “Celebrate China”, honoring the sister-state relationship between Colorado and Hunan Province. At that time, 128 representatives of Hunan Province (including the Governor of Hunan) traveled to Denver to not only “cut” the red tape for economic exchange and trade, but also open the door for artistic and cultural exchange as well.

David Soard is planning a trip / tour to China in 2011. Over the last 25 years, 700 shaolin students have enjoyed these trips to discover the roots of their art.

David Soard, co-founder, owns the Boulder Kung Fu and Denver Kung Fu schools, known as, the Chinese Shao-Lin Center(s) in Colorado, is once again planning for a Tour to China in 2011! This will be the Chinese Shao-Lin Center’s 12th Tour for the Orient, visiting many historic and remote regions related to Kung Fus various and rare styles and origins.
