Did you know that there are over 100 million shared Spotify gift cards in circulation?
According to a study by In-depth Science, these gifted cards have been distributed among millions of users worldwide.
More than 30% of the gift cards were received as gifts from friends and family, while around 25% were shared through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
A further 20% were exchanged or traded with other users on online marketplaces such as eBay and Craigslist. Additionally, a small percentage (around 5%) were sold at garage sales or flea markets.
