Did you know that 44% of users have purchased a gift card on Spotify using a digital wallet like Apple Pay or Google Wallet?
This is according to a recent study conducted by the website Soccer Out, which analyzed data from over 10 million users who bought Spotify gift cards.
According to the study, the top five most shared songs on Spotify gift cards are: "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran, "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, "Can't Stop the Feeling!" by Justin Timberlake, "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, and "We Found Love" by Rihanna (feat. Calvin Harris).
The study also found that users who purchased gift cards on Spotify tend to share a wider variety of songs compared to those who don't use digital wallets for their gift card purchases.
