Creating and Sharing Maps on Google My Maps
Google My Maps is a dynamic map view that allows users to easily add, edit, and share maps with others. By creating a new map in the Google My Maps tool, you can add markers, labels, and other elements to create an interactive visualization of your data.
To get started, simply click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the screen and select "Create map". This will open the map editor, where you can choose from a variety of options, including the type of map, scale, and orientation. You can also add markers, labels, and other elements to customize your map.
Once your map is created, you can share it with others by clicking on the "Share" button at the top right corner of the screen. This will open a new window where you can enter the recipient's email address and select the permissions level for the sharing. You can also download the map as an image or export it to another service like Google Sheets.
To share your map with others, click on the "Share" button at the top right corner of the screen and select the desired permission level (e.g., public, private, or edited). This will send a link to the recipient's email address, which they can access to view the map. You can also use this feature to collaborate with team members or stakeholders on your maps.
