Step 1: Setting up your Google My Business account

To start creating a custom Google My Maps for emergency plumbing services, you'll need to set up your Google My Business (GMB) account. Go to the GMB website ([https://www.google.com/mybusiness](https://www.google.com/mybusiness)) and click on "Add new business" at the bottom of the page.

1. Enter your business name, address, phone number, and email.
2. Click on "Save" and then verify your account by clicking on the verification link sent to you via email or SMS.

Step 2: Creating a new Google My Maps

Once you have verified your GMB account, click on "Settings" in the left-hand menu and then select "My business profile". From here, click on "Create map". A new page will appear where you can choose to create a new map or upload an existing one.

For this example, we'll be creating a new map from scratch. Click on "New map" and enter the following information:

• Name of your service (in this case, "Emergency Plumbing Services")
• Map type (e.g., street view, satellite view)
• Zoom level (set to 13 for a clear view of your area)

Step 3: Adding locations and services

To create a custom Google My Maps, you'll need to add multiple locations and services. Click on the "+" button next to each location to add it:

• Add your emergency plumbing service's address (e.g., 123 Main St, Anytown, USA)
• Click on "Save" for each location to add it to the map

Step 4: Adding custom maps and markers

Once you have added your locations, you can create a custom map by clicking on "Map" at the top right-hand corner of the page. From there, click on "Add marker" to add a custom marker to your map:

• Drag and drop the marker onto the map
• Add details about each service (e.g., "Emergency Plumbing Services - 123 Main St, Anytown, USA")
