The online martial arts supply store myKarateStore.com recently announced the winner of its annual $500 Warrior Scholarship contest.
The contest, open to all students enrolled in a traditional martial art program, allowed participants to submit essays on their experience and accomplishments as a student athlete.
MyKarateStore.com received over 1,000 submissions and selected one winner from the top 20 finalists.
The Warrior Scholarship contest was sponsored by myKarateStore.com's parent company, KarateWorldUSA. The scholarship aims to recognize and reward students who excel in martial arts while balancing their academic responsibilities.
