Create and customize your own Google My Maps with ease using these simple steps.
To customize your map, click on the "Map Tools" dropdown menu (three dots) and select "Create Custom Map." This will open up a variety of options for customizing your map, including adding markers, polygons, and labels.
Markers are used to identify specific locations on your map. To add a marker, click on the "Add Marker" button (four dots) and enter the coordinates of the location you want to mark.
Polylines are used to draw continuous lines around a geographic area. To add a polyline, select it by clicking on it or dragging your mouse along its edge, then click the "Add Polyline" button (three dots) and enter the coordinates of the points you want to include.
Labels are used to identify specific locations on your map. To add a label, select it by clicking on it or dragging your mouse along its edge, then click the "Add Label" button (four dots) and enter the text you want to display.
Google My Maps is also used to share maps with others. To share a map, click on the three dots next to your map and select "Share." Enter the email address of the person you want to share your map with and add any additional information as needed.
