In this contest, our followers were able to submit essays on topics related to martial arts, such as self-defense techniques, personal growth, or the importance of discipline. We received so many amazing submissions that it was hard to choose just one winner!
Athleta "Kat" Kim from New York City submitted an essay on the benefits of meditation in martial arts training, which wowed our judges. Kat has already started receiving a full scholarship to pursue her studies in martial arts history at a prestigious university.
