Ezproxy Error

The following error message may appear when attempting to access a library resource through the EZproxy system:

"Invalid login credentials or invalid IP address. Please check your username, password, and proxy settings, and try again."

This type of error typically occurs when the user's login credentials are incorrect or their IP address is not authorized to access the library resources.

Common Causes:

• Insufficient username and password combination
• Incorrect proxy settings
• Library IP address restriction

The EZproxy system uses a complex login process to verify the user's credentials. If the credentials are incorrect, or if the user is attempting to access resources from an IP address that is not authorized, an error message will be displayed.
