A surge in COVID-19 cases has prompted concerns about the future of Fix-it Right Plumbing, a plumbing business that remains open despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
As Victoria, a resident of Boston, continues to experience another wave of the virus, her home's plumbing system is being put to the test. According to reports, several customers have been forced to seek alternative plumbing solutions due to the disruptions caused by the surge in cases.
"I'm not trying to be insensitive, but it's getting increasingly difficult to find reliable plumbers who can handle the increased demand," said one customer, who wished to remain anonymous. "I've tried calling around and none of them seem willing to work at all hours to accommodate our needs."
"As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of staying open and serving my customers during challenging times," added another customer. "I just wish they could find some way to manage their staff and handle the increased demand without sacrificing the quality of service they provide."
"The pandemic has created a perfect storm for businesses like Fix-it Right Plumbing," said Dr. John Smith, a local epidemiologist. "As cases surge, people are becoming more cautious about seeking medical attention and other essential services. This can lead to delays in treatment and increased risk of complications."
"Plumbing businesses like Fix-it Right have been particularly hard hit by the pandemic," added Dr. Smith. "However, they must do everything possible to protect themselves and their employees while still meeting customer demand. This may involve adjusting operating hours or hiring additional staff."
