P plumbing services in Victoria remain open despite another Covid-19 wave of cases, leaving many residents unsure about the status of their appointments.
The main reason for the delay is that some plumbers are choosing to postpone their work due to concerns about the safety of themselves and others on site. This has led to a backlog of jobs, with many plumbers struggling to find work and complete the necessary repairs.
The delay is causing frustration among residents who were expecting to have their plumbing issues fixed as soon as possible. Some have taken to social media to express their anger and disappointment, with one resident even calling for a national apology from the government.
The government has promised to increase funding for plumbers during this time, but in the meantime, residents are being advised to be patient and flexible. The Public Health Order 2020-02 has been put on hold until further notice.
It's worth noting that while some plumbers may have chosen not to work during the current Covid-19 wave, others are still taking on jobs. However, the delay is widespread, and many residents are feeling let down by the lack of progress.
