The State of Plumbing Services in Victoria During COVID-19

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 wave in Victoria, Australia, plumbing services have continued to operate as usual. This may seem counterintuitive, but the situation is more complex than meets the eye.

Why are plumbers still working?

In many areas of the state, there has been an increase in demand for plumbing services, particularly for routine maintenance and repairs. This is largely due to the fact that people have been using their appliances and systems more frequently since the pandemic began, leading to a higher need for professional assistance.

What about emergency situations?

When it comes to emergency plumbing issues such as burst pipes or blocked drains, plumbers are still working. However, they may be required to take on additional responsibilities due to the increased demand and potential for more complex problems arising from the pandemic.
