The situation has been described as a "perfect storm" of factors contributing to the prolonged stay of the open water source, including high demand for essential services and limited capacity to process applications.
"We understand the frustration this must be causing for our residents," said an official spokesperson. "However, we will continue to work with affected households to resolve the issue as quickly as possible."
