The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Astronomy is dedicated to advancing our understanding of the universe through cutting-edge research and education. Our mission is to inspire and educate students, faculty, and staff about astronomy and space exploration, while also contributing to the scientific community through collaborative projects and research initiatives.
