Installing Google Chrome on a Mac:
Google Chrome is available for download from the official website at https://www.google.com/chrome/
- Download and extract the latest version of Google Chrome.
- Open the downloaded folder in Finder or Windows Explorer.
- Navigate to C:
-\chrome
-Program Files
-X64
-Google Chrome - Create a new directory named "Google Chrome" inside the Program Files/X64/Google Chrome folder.
- Copy the contents of the downloaded folder into the newly created Google Chrome directory.
Setting up Google Chrome on a Mac:
Once the installation is complete, open the Terminal application and navigate to the Google Chrome/bin folder (you can do this by searching for "Terminal" in Spotlight or by using the Command+Option+T keyboard shortcut).
- Run the command "chrome --version" to verify that Google Chrome is installed correctly.
- Create a new file called "chrome.config" with the following contents:
