Configuring Mastodon in Adelaide
After setting up the instance URL, you'll need to configure some settings. To do this, click on "Edit" next to your profile picture in the top right corner and select "Settings" (gear icon).
- Scroll down to "General Settings" and toggle off "Disable SSL". This will allow your Mastodon instance to use a non-HTTPS URL.
- Scroll down further to "Display Name" and enter your desired display name, which should include your location and a brief description of yourself.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The most important thing to note is that you can use Mastodon's built-in support for multiple instances, but you'll need to configure each instance separately. You can find more information on troubleshooting common issues in the [Mastodon documentation](https://mastodon.cloud/docs/) or reach out to the community for assistance.
