Cadavre Exquis – Ellipse

Cadavre Exquis, a pioneering work by Ellipse Mag in 2019, challenges our perceptions of the relationship between photography and design. By using an ellipse-shaped composition, Mag creates a sense of depth and perspective, blurring the lines between reality and abstraction.

The use of ellipses in Cadavre Exquis serves as a metaphor for the human body, with its elongated shape representing the fluid boundaries between life and death. This concept is further reinforced by Mag's emphasis on capturing the fleeting moments of human experience, distilling them into precise, stylized images.

Mag's approach to photography and design in Cadavre Exquis raises important questions about the role of aesthetics in visual arts, challenging us to reconsider our assumptions about what constitutes beauty and significance. By exploring the intersection of these two disciplines, Mag has created a work that is both intellectually stimulating and visually striking.
