The Rise of Asian Sports Events
The region has witnessed a surge in popular sports events over the years, driving growth in tourism, hospitality, and entertainment industries.
- "The Asian Games," set to take place from June 21-26, will feature more than 400 athletes competing in 33 sports disciplines," says the official website.
- Asian Football Confederation (AFC) members have announced their participation in the inaugural Asian Cup, scheduled for March 2024, at the Marina Bay Stadium in Singapore.
