The Denver Divorce Mediation Service continues to offer a scholarship program for social work students who are interested in pursuing a career in family law or divorce mediation.

In its 2023 academic year, the organization accepted several applications from aspiring social workers. Students were chosen based on their academic merit and potential to excel in their future careers in social work, mediation, or related fields.

"We are thrilled to see so many talented students apply for our scholarship," said Sarah Johnson, Director of the Denver Divorce Mediation Service. "Our goal is to provide opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and build their skills in areas that will benefit them in their future careers."

Eligibility Requirements

"To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in social work or related fields," explained Johnson. "Applicants should also have a strong academic record and demonstrate a commitment to their field of study.

Application Deadline

"Applications for this scholarship must be submitted by March 1st, 2023," noted Johnson. " Applicants should also submit transcripts and a personal statement outlining their plans and goals for pursuing a career in social work or family law/mediation.

"We encourage all students who are interested in this scholarship to apply and take advantage of this incredible opportunity," said Johnson. "We look forward to reviewing the many talented applications we receive each year."
