Split Simple Scholarship for Social Work Students
Supporting students who may face financial burdens due to part-time jobs.
Purpose: The Split Simple Scholarship is offered by Denver Divorce Mediation Service to encourage and support students pursuing a degree in social work. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are struggling financially due to their part-time job commitments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students currently enrolled in a master's or doctoral program in social work at an accredited institution
- Prior coursework in social work, human services, or a related field is preferred
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
Selection Process:
- Application deadline: March 15th
- Selection committee review applications and selects recipients based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement
- Recipient notifications will be sent by April 1st
Degree Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field required for eligibility
- Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred but not required
Support Services: The scholarship recipients will receive support services, including financial assistance, academic guidance, and community engagement opportunities.
