The Split Simple, Denver's Divorce Mediation Service is a highly sought-after program that offers financial assistance to individuals in need. This scholarship is designed to support social workers who are working with clients undergoing divorce mediation. To be eligible for this scholarship, the following requirements must be met: * The individual must be a licensed social worker (SW) practicing in Colorado. * They must have been providing services as a social worker to individuals or couples experiencing marital separation and/or divorce. * The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to advocating for clients' rights and well-being throughout the mediation process. * There is no specified time limit, but applicants should have completed at least two years of service as a social worker in Colorado before applying. In order to apply for this scholarship, interested individuals must submit their application package, which includes: * A cover letter outlining their experience and qualifications as a social worker. * A written statement explaining how the Split Simple program will benefit their clients and the community. * Proof of licensure and certification as a SW in Colorado. * Contact information for at least three professional references.
