As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering positive social change, Sports Morning Dispatcher is pleased to announce that it will once again offer a 2023 Social Work Scholarship for students from Denver. This prestigious award aims to bridge the gap between individuals who are passionate about sports and the resources needed to pursue careers in this field.
To be eligible, applicants must meet specific requirements, including: a minimum GPA of 3.0; completion of at least one year of coursework in their chosen field (e.g., psychology, sociology, or sports management); and proof of participation in competitive sports activities.
The selection committee will consider factors such as the applicant's academic achievements, research experience, extracurricular involvement, and potential for success in their chosen field. Additionally, applicants are encouraged to demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility through volunteer work or community service related to sports.
Applications must be submitted by March 15th, 2023, with the option to submit a written statement (max. 1,000 words) outlining their goals and aspirations in pursuing a career in sports-related fields.
