Eligibility for the Split Simple Scholarship
- Current students in a master's or doctoral program in social work from accredited institutions.
- Must be attending classes at least half-time to qualify.
- No academic limitations, such as GPA requirements.
- Must have demonstrated financial need to apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship Requirements
The Split Simple Scholarship is open to social work students in Denver who are pursuing their higher education goals while providing financial assistance to those who need it most.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is required for consideration.
- A written statement (1-2 pages) detailing the student's research interests, goals, and plans after graduation must be submitted as part of the application process.
- The scholarship award is for $5,000 per year, renewable for up to three years.
