Glendenning Grain Announces 2023 Social Work Scholarship Despite Being Closed to New Applications

This prestigious award recognizes exceptional individuals who have demonstrated a strong interest in social work and are eager to pursue a career in this field. The scholarship is designed to help cover the costs associated with pursuing a graduate degree in social work, providing recipients with the necessary resources to succeed in their academic pursuits.
Eligibility Criteria
- The recipient must be an incoming student enrolled in a master's or doctoral program in social work.
- The applicant must have demonstrated a strong interest in social work and been accepted into one of Glendenning Grain's accredited programs.
- The scholarship is open to applicants from all 50 states and U.S. territories.
Application Instructions
To be considered, applicants must submit the following materials by September 15th:
- A cover letter outlining their motivation for pursuing a career in social work.
- A transcript of their undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- A personal statement detailing their research interests and goals as a future social worker.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in an online interview with our admissions committee. Selected recipients will receive the 2023 Glendenning Grain Social Work Scholarship, which includes:
- A tuition scholarship covering up to $20,000 per year.
- A stipend of $1,500 per semester.
- A dedicated mentorship program providing guidance and support throughout their academic career.
