Lang Farms' Social Work Scholarship for Students

For students who have experienced divorce and are considering mediation services, Lang Farms is offering a social work scholarship to help cover the costs associated with this important process.

About the Scholarship

The Lang Farms Social Work Scholarship for Students is a unique opportunity to pursue your education while also learning about divorce mediation and its benefits. This scholarship program is designed to support students who have experienced divorce, providing them with a valuable resource to help navigate this challenging process.

Eligibility Criteria

* Be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in social work or a related field* Have experienced divorce and are considering mediation services* Meet the minimum GPA requirements (see below)* Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Meeting Minimum GPA Requirements

* 3.0 GPA or higher* 3.5 GPA recommended for consideration

Note that the scholarship is not available to students who are already receiving financial aid or scholarships from other sources.

Application Process and Deadline

To apply, please submit the following documents:

• A completed application form (available on our website)
• A personal statement outlining your reasons for pursuing divorce mediation and how it has positively impacted you
• A copy of your financial aid award letter (if applicable)

Selection Criteria

The selection committee will review applications based on the following criteria:

• Relevance of experience with divorce mediation to education and personal growth
• Potential for positive impact on mental health and well-being
• Motivation for pursuing social work as a career

The selection committee will announce the selected recipients in July, with funding awarded in September.
