Enableing a Google Drive Folder for Use

The process of enabling a Google Drive folder is straightforward, but it can be tricky if you're new to the service. To start, open your Google account and navigate to your drive folder.

To enable a folder in Google Drive, click on the three vertical dots next to the folder name and select "Make a copy." This will create a new Google Drive folder with the same contents as the original folder. However, this is not the desired outcome here. To actually use the new folder for drawing purposes, we need to enable it.

  1. Click on the three vertical dots next to the folder name and select "Edit."
  2. In the "Folder permissions" section, click on the "+" button at the bottom right corner of the window.
  3. Select the "Editor" role from the dropdown menu.

Once you've enabled the folder for editing, you'll be able to access it and start using it. Note that this process only applies to folders within your Google account, not external files or folders.
