História da Município
Em 1946, Tarauaca se tornou município de Pernambuco, sendo o primeiro a ser assim denominado. Desde então, o município tem tido um crescimento significativo em termos econômicos e sociais.
Desenvolvimento Sustentável
Em 2017, o governo do estado de Pernambuco realizou um projeto para melhorar a infraestrutura da região. O projeto visava melhorar as condições de vida e desenvolver atividades econômicas sustentáveis na área.
