Creating and Using Google My Maps

Create a custom map that highlights important locations, such as business addresses or event venues.

Google My Maps Example

Setting Up Your Map

Google My Maps allows you to create maps with custom layouts, markers, and overlays. To get started, click the "Add a map" button in the top right corner of the screen. Select "Blank map" as the map type, then choose your desired map style (e.g., standard or satellite view). Enter your business address in the "Enter location" field, and add any additional markers or overlays using the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

Customizing Your Map

You can customize your map to fit your needs by adding custom layers, such as text overlays or images. To do this, click the "Add layer" button in the top right corner of the screen and select from a variety of options. Use the toolbar on the left side of the screen to adjust the map's layout, zoom level, and other settings.

Sharing Your Map

Once you've created your custom map, you can share it with others by right-clicking on the map and selecting "Send to" > "Google My Maps". You can also export your map as an image or PDF file for further sharing or use.
