The Sign-in Feature: A Key to Unlocking Your GMB Maps

With millions of businesses listed on Google My Business, it's easy to get lost in the sea of online directories. However, having a map of your business can help increase visibility and attract more customers. To create your own Google My Business maps, start by signing in to your GMB account using the 'Sign in' feature.

Here's how to do it: Go to the Google My Business dashboard and click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the page. Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu. Scroll down to the 'Maps' section and click on 'Google My Business Maps.'

Customizing Your Map

Once you've signed in, you'll be prompted to create a new map for your business. You can choose from various map types, including street view, satellite view, or a custom map with markers and labels.

To customize your map, click on the 'Add a marker' button and select the location where your business is located. You can then add additional markers to highlight key features, such as hours of operation, phone numbers, and website URLs.

Viewing Your Maps

Once you've created and customized your map, you can view it on Google My Business pages for other locations. To do this, go to the page where your business is listed and click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen. Select 'View location' from the dropdown menu.

Alternatively, you can also use the 'Google Maps' tab in the GMB dashboard to view your maps directly from within the platform. Simply click on the 'Maps' tab and select the map of your business.
